Abbott Receives the US FDA’s Clearance for Alinity H-Series Hematology System
Shots:
- The US FDA has cleared the advanced Alinity h-series hematology system enabling laboratories to run complete blood counts (CBCs) as part of Abbott’s Alinity family of diagnostic products. The system will seamlessly integrate into existing Alinity lab systems across the country
- The system incl. the Alinity HQ automated hematology analyzer and the Alinity HS integrated slide maker and stainer. The Alinity HQ uses Abbott's Multi-Angle Polarized Scatter Separation (MAPSS) technology which utilizes light scattering to distinguish cellular features and better identify various blood cells
- The Alinity family now includes the Alinity CI for clinical chemistry and immunoassays, the Alinity M for molecular testing, the Alinity S for transfusion, and the point-of-care i-STAT Alinity
